Summer Classes 2009

Summer Extended Care is Available from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.  The cost is $125/week.  If your child is here for extended care he/she will be automatically enrolled in the summer classes being offered.   If you enroll your child in a summer class, and need additional care outside of the class hours, we will bill you at an hourly rate of $4.  

Arts and Crafts June 15^th-19^th

Cost:  $50    9-10:30 a.m.

Learn how to use and reuse items in the environment to create art using various techniques.  Reinforces imagination and creativity, while developing an awareness of art all around us!

Sign Language for 1 week for 1 hour

June 22^nd-June 26^th  9-10 a.m.  Cost: $20 

Learn how to communicate words and phrases using your hands.  Develops concentration and assists with language development.

Cooking Classes (a favorite!) Cost : $50 or $90 for both

Session 1 : June 29^th-July 3rd 9-11 a.m.

Session 11: July 6^th-10^th 9-11 a.m.

Learn how to follow verbal and written directions, measure, problem solve, multi-task, and feel proud when a recipe is complete!   Try new foods and expand your diet!

Spanish Language Class

Cost: $45  July 13^th-17^th 9-10 a.m.

Learn basic Spanish words and phrases as well as some Spanish Arts and Crafts. Also, learn about traditional Holidays/Customs and sample traditional Mexican dishes!

Math and Language Enrichment Class

Cost: $80  July 2o^th- Aug. 7^th 9-11 a.m.

A Montessori Approach to reinforcing math and language development. Each child will work towards further developing his/her math and language skills through a hand’s on approach working towards the abstract.  Ages: 4 and up (for Montessori students only).
